Why should we use Tien Phat elbows?
To ensure electrical system safety in construction projects, engineers nowadays use electrical conduits (including Tien Phat electrical conduits) for concealed wiring within floors and walls. Unlike the practice in South Korea and Japan of using flexible conduits, in Vietnam, Rigid Conduits, also known as straight conduits, are primarily used for concealed wiring in floors and walls.
Using conduits for electrical wiring makes it easy to pull wires through, ensures the safety of the electrical wires, and prevents electrical incidents. In the past, before rigid and flexible (“chicken gut”) conduits were adopted, construction teams often installed bare wires directly concealed within floors and ceilings without any protective layer. As construction techniques advanced and awareness of electrical safety received more attention, electrical conduits have appeared in all construction projects, from residential buildings to large-scale projects, factories, and enterprises.
Because the length of each electrical conduit is only 2.92 meters, they need to be extended using plain couplings, elbow connectors (or simply: couplings, connectors), or other types of fittings, depending on the design requirements and the length of the wiring run. This is also a limitation when using round electrical conduits.
